The Board
Brandon Centre Board
The Brandon Centre Board currently has nine Trustees, who meet quarterly, with one Annual General Meeting and Board Development Session. The Board is responsible for ensuring that Brandon Centre’s aims are being delivered effectively and sustainably. The Board has sub-committees for Finance & Audit, Quality, Safety & Risk, People, Business Development & Fundraising and Remuneration.
The Chief Executive, supported by the Head of Finance, is accountable to the Board for administration and financial management and works with the Board on developing Brandon Centre’s long-term strategy, business development, budget and business plan.
Our Young Ambassadors represent service users at the annual AGM and plans are in place for user-representation on the Board this year.
Our Trustees have a broad range of skills; including commercial experience in social marketing/media, telecoms and private healthcare; have held senior NHS roles; Head Teacher with 20 years’ experience; a Community Development specialist; and Managing Director of a Bank. Our Chief Executive brings over 35 years’ leadership experience in the NHS Primary Care Trust/Mental Health Trust executive roles and learning disability sectors and our Head of Finance is a CIMA-qualified accountant.
