Volunteering at Brandon Centre is an incredibly rewarding experience. It offers the chance to meet new people, share your skills, learn new ones, and make a real difference in the lives of young people and families. We’re always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic and growing volunteering team.

We are always developing a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available across our services, so whether you are looking for an administrative role, creating social media content, helping on strategies or an opportunity to become a young/parent ambassador, there is an exciting volunteering opportunity for you. This can be a regular commitment or an ad hoc/flexible arrangement.

As a Brandon Centre volunteer, you will receive an induction, training and continual support. There is always a trial period to ensure it meets your expectations, time and experience. No previous experience is necessary.

For younger volunteers, every hour spent with Brandon Centre counts towards your volunteering element of your Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

We welcome corporate volunteers and community groups who want to volunteer their time helping with our mindful garden. This includes upkeep, development, planting, watering, painting and encouraging the growth of the local natural habitat.

We participate on an annual basis in London’s Open House. We welcome volunteers who can support as stewards on the day. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the members of the local community and Brandon Centre team.

We also offer opportunities for aspiring psychologists to gain valuable experience by volunteering as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist. As an Honorary Assistant Psychologist, you will be supported and supervised, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and enhance your understanding of mental health services. The role is flexible, and you will participate in a range of service projects, research and evaluations, all while gaining insight into therapeutic interventions and the inner workings of our mental health services. Keep an eye out on our ‘work with us’ page for when we are recruiting for this role.
