Brandon Connect psychotherapy service is funded by Cripplegate Foundation. The service provides therapeutic support for 16 to 25-year-old young men living in Islington who have mental health problems that are a barrier to them being in education, employment or training.

Typical problems are depression and social anxiety that make it difficult for the young person to move on in their life. Treatment aims to address these and other difficulties that are holding the young person back and then focus on what he would like to achieve. It is therefore goal focused and solution oriented.

The service has strong links with local employment support providers and creative projects and can help ‘bridge’ young people into these services.

Referrals of Islington young men who are feeling stuck and are struggling to access support are welcomed.
